Error 101 / Error 103 / Unable to get image file size - retry?

This error typically occurs when a sensor is not connected to the computer.

This error may occur if the sensor is unplugged or if there is a problem with the cord that leads to the sensor disconnecting when the cord is moved.

  • Make sure the sensor is securely connected to the computer's USB port.

  • Verify the sensor's connection to the computer and determine if a USB extender or hub is in use. Remove any extenders or hubs and connect the sensor directly to the computer

  • Ensure the USB port is working properly by trying it with other USB devices.

  • Carefully bend the cable from side to side, watching for any error messages. Start where the cable attaches to the sensor and move toward the USB port.
