Creating and Editing Layouts
Learn how to create and edit exam layouts. Layouts can be customized to help streamline workflow.
Follow these steps to create or edit layouts for image capture.
Please note: Any layout you create, edit, or delete on one workstation will automatically update across all other workstations.
Step 1: Open the XDR Software, access any patient account, and click the New Exam button.
Please note: Once a layout is deleted, it cannot be restored. To use that layout again, you’ll need to recreate it by following these instructions.
Step 3: Click on a device tile to add tiles to your layout. Add as many tiles as needed. Available device tiles are shown below.
Step 4: To set up a four-bitewing layout, click the Size 2 device tile four times. The corresponding X-ray tiles will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Drag and drop the tiles using the left mouse button to arrange them in your preferred capture order.
Step 6: Use the Rotate Icon to adjust the cord ends on each tile so they face the center of the screen for proper orientation.
Step 7: Click on Bigger/Smaller to change size of the X-ray tiles.
Step 8: Type the layout name in the Layout Name box and click on the Save Layout button.
