Could not get GetGuid DLL entry point

This issue is caused by incorrect versions of Microsoft Visual C++ x86 Redistributable or improper installation of the Redistributable on the workstation.


The error is typically due to the absence of VC Redistributable 2015 x86 in the XDR prerequisites, but it can be manually installed from this link.

If Windows shows an error during installation, it indicates the presence of another conflicting version, often a cumulative update like 2015-2022. To fix this, uninstall the x86 cumulative update and then install the standalone 2015 version.
